    HI THERE PEOPLE,
I just installed win2000 on my PC and tried to reinstall my CDRW drive.
Installed it ok but when I put in the Philips CD with the driver and software etc. it gives the following message:-

string MINIMUM_CPU_CLOCK not found or something similar

Any suggestions, oh and since I'm here...any idea how to upgrade my BIOS cheaply?

    Thanks A million friends,
    Gerd,
    Ireland

It sounds like one of those Catch 22 things. It won't read the CD because it needs a driver and the driver is on the CD.

The best bet is to go to the CD OEM's website and download a 2000 driver for it. It can't make it any worse.
