Every CD I put in the CDRW goes into autoplay including direct CD data Cds. These CDS dont even have an autoplay.inf file in them!!
How do I stop this? However I dont want to stop game CDS and other CDs which have the autoinf file in them, from starting automatically.

You have to disable this feature in the Direct CD program. When I had my CD-RW software installed, (Adaptec) there was an option for disabling this feature.

I don't know what software you have exactly but poke around in it a bit and see what you find.

Start Windows Explorer, right click on your CD Drive, select Properties from the pop-up menu, click on the Auto Play Tab.
Click on the down arrow in the Content Type window to change the types you want.

This shouldn't effect those disks that contain the Autoplay.inf as the .INF extension is controlled in File Types. Open Windows Explorer, click on Tools, Folder Options, then click on the File Types tab, scroll down until you find the .INF extension, click on Advanced. Listed actions should include Install, Open and Print.

Hope this is what you were looking for. :)
