I must be losing it, but I use to have a for lack of better term, an info bar in Windows Explorer, just above my Task Bar. When I clicked on a folder or file it would show the # of files selected or the size of the folder etc.
It's gone and I've looked high and low and can't find it. I know the dog didn't eat it.
If someone could refresh my brain and tell me where to activate that again I'd appreciate it. I thought it could be found in the folders options in Explorer, but I can't find it.
Please be gentle as I am already embarrassed enough. .
    I use XP Pro
    Thanks all in advance.

Floyd, under normal circumstances, you can open Windows Explorer and click on "View" on the toolbar and then click on "Status Bar" so that it will have a check mark on it. That will normally give you the status bar at the bottom that you are so used to.. :)

surferdude2, of course. Thanks. I was side tracked looking in folder options.
