Startup screen & Shutdown screen

    My wife`s screens have been changed to pictures we don`t want.how do we change them back.We cannot ask the person who did this because of personal reasons.

    >LOGOW.SYS -- wait screen; located in Windows folder
    >LOGOS.SYS -- safe to shut down screen; located in Windows
    folder

    Rename the files mentioned above and supplied within the link I provided and use sfc to extract new ones.

    Googles group list with the above as a topic. You may wish to look through a few of these to get a thorough understanding of what was done and what must be done to reverse to it.
