    Why wouldn't i accept Arie's idebt?? I respect him and his position, and he never steered me wrong...Actually he corrected me that he did not say it was IE 8 but "it identified itself as IE 8 "
    No, i did not go to MS link.
    I opened IE, went to help at top, about internet explore, it shows as 8
