    released just yesterday
    http://majorgeeks.com/download2471.html

I suggest uninstalling the old version first
To uninstall 1.2 Open to immunize page and uncheck all protections
    close the program
uninstall it through control panel > addremove or the uninstall shortcut
    restart the PC
navigate to the default installation folder and delete that to
    C:\Program Files\ "Spybot - Search & Destroy "

    then install the newer vesion.

Got it. Removed 1.2 and loaded it. Couple of nice new features and the Immunize button now blocks over 1700 (up from over 500).

    Thanx Lonnie.

Going thru SSD's v1.3 "ignore products" list, found New Net entries checked, meaning their ignored. I think this is because of legal issues with the company that authored New Net. Another entry is MySearch - don't know what the issue there is, probably the same.

    These are default settings.

Went to the Net Integration site and found this thread http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=15180

Is it safe to install over the current version?

    Hi shadowhawk,

The answer is yes, but from what I've read, its important to REBOOT after the install otherwise a scanning error may occur. Rebooting after an install is a good practice anyway.

It would pay you to go to SSD's forum site and read about the new version. Two new features which are fairly complex - TeaTimer and SDHelper - if you choose to install/use them have been added.

I found the samething when I installed 1.3. Just unchecked the checked items.

Also...I had installed RC3 and RC5 when they came out...did anybody else notice that "Teatimer.exe" was using a little extra "CPU ". I didn't install the "TeaTimer" feature this time. How's is it running on those that did install it?

Ive yet to see any problems with tea timer on this windows me system,
did on all the RC releases.

If you do use it its best to disable when installing any legitimate programs or updates, same as we are supposed to do with firewall's and anti virus programs, Like when at windows update for example.

    Shadowhawk,

While it may be safe to do an over-the-top install, it's not recommended. It's not difficult, and presents no immediate threat, to uninstall the previous version first. A clean install is the preferred method, just like a Windows installation.

I think possibly the most logical explanation for the ignored products checked by default, at least the New.net ones, is because the information in this thread still applies. From that thread,
Although the paragraph above it claims Spybot will remove New.net with no adverse effects, I would be concerned with letting it remove the LSP entries. May break the winsock chain, leaving the PC unable to access the internet.

    Please Heeeeeelp!!!

Since I installed it I have new problem. When I go to, let us say ebay, I get the message that "double click" wants to install and do I want to install it ... and sometimes I have to click 6 times or more untill all of them are cancelled

Is there a way to cancell this NEED for continuous clicking  so that program does it (not install these known cyber pathogens) silently without me having to keep on clicking to the state of unconsciousnes.

Right click the resident icon in the system tray and select 'Block all pages silently' I aksed for prompts just to try this on e-bay and it did ask but when I went with silent block nothing was asked

You can also change this setting in the immunize section of the GUI but the quick way is via the con. HTH
