 I found this file in my startup items in msconfig, and the following key in the registry HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Currentversion\Run. Its located in my root folder. Does anyone have an idea what this might be? I can't locate any mention of it on the net.

    Thanks
    Wolfmac

If you can't find it with some web searching then it is a baddie. Spyware or virus dropped it on you as part of the payload.

I'm moving this thread to the security section since you have some cleanup work to do.

Use Msconfig to stop that one from running at startup and reboot.

Download, update, run Ad-aware and Spybot and let them remove what they find. Download Hijackthis 1.98.2, run it, create a log, and post the log contents here.
