Resolved SP2 Install Before SP3?

    Helping a friend with computer problem and discovered she has never installed SP2 or SP3. I have both Microsoft CDs for these SPs but I can't determine if I should install SP2 first or if I can go directly to SP3. I looked at the SP Stickies at the head of this forum but couldn't seem to find that question specifically answered.

    You can directly install SP3. SP3 includes SP2 but not SP1.

    Thanks. I was hoping that would be the answer. I will do all the precautionary stuff - backup, restore point, etc. - before I begin.

    You need at least SP1 installed prior to installing SP3.
