Sp 3

When i try to download SP3 on 2000 pro I get past inspecting then it sits at downloading files and patches all night.

under details it says connecting to http://ntservicepack.microsoft.com/isapi/pstream3.dll/win2000/sp

any suggestions

 

From your post it sounds like you are trying to install over the internet. Difficult with a SP this large. Did you try downloading the SP and then running it locally after you have it all?

I had the same problem so I decided to DL the entire thing and install it from my HD. Doing it that way worked out fine.

It is a huge file, but better than having it hang all night.

 

Whats a good URL to get the total D/L from.......??

The one listed sbove doesn't work.
