Resolved sound card driver

    where can I download driver for a crystal A-4620, I HAVE tried about 7 websites and they want me to download a whole download system, all I want is the one driver.

    nope when I try to download they want to download the whole drivers updater, then they want you to pay for it.

    Sound card drivers are usually system specific. Neil.

    1. Go to this link posted above by James Martin:
    http://www.nodevice.com/driver/company/Crystal_Semiconductors.html

    2. Click the TEXT that says Download.

    3. Enter the Verification code and click the blue download button.

    4. Save the downloaded .zip file.

    5. Close your Web browser.

    6. Right click the .zip file and select Extract all.

    The zip contains: DriverUpdaterSetup and another .zip called cs4620nt.zip.

    Delete the DriverUpdater garbage. The drivers you need are in the .zip. There is no setup or installer, you will need to install the drivers using Device Manager.

    Note: this is an old sound card and will work with winNT, win2k or XP, but probably won't work with later operating systems.

    well I quess I can't use this sound card, iam trying to put it in vista. so thanks for all your help. iam just going to buy a new one with drivers.

    Did you try Tony's suggestion of importing the driver files via Device Manager?

    yes but it dosen;t work with vista
