Sony CDRW won't work

    Sony cdrw just has a yellow light on the led and won't do nothing.

    Hi Blakedough,

    May have to squeeze just a little more information out :D .

    Have you just installed it or has it started playing up?
    You could check the cables are firmly seated.
    Does it show up in Device Manager?
    Does the tray eject?
    It is a constant yellow light. Does it flash during boot, then stay constant when Windows is loading?

    Check the master/slave jumper.
