I can recieve mail but cannot send. I get a popup that states: The host'smpt.comcast.net' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smpt.comcast.net', Protocol: SMPT, Port: 25 Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D. It recieved mail for a while before this happened. Thanks for any help..........Mike

It looks like you typoed the server and/or protocol when you configured Outlook Express for comcast. Usually it is SMTP instead of SMPT.

Try changing your Outlook Express settings for your comcast account to the following:
    Server: smtp.comcast.net
    Protocol: SMTP

Outgoing mail configurations usually use SMTP. (SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)

See http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/S/SMTP.html for more information about mail protocols.
