I tried to OS Deployment Featurepack with SMS2003SP1.

When trying refreshing OS, the error as below was occurred.

'Failed installing operating system. Ask to administrator.
Could not connect to installation package on \\test1\smspkgf$\S0100002
requested log sesstion does not exist. The session may closed already.
please see detail from refresh log. '

I also saw the error in SMS status report.

'11105 Error The Operating System installation failed to connect to
    the distribution point'

What is the problem? I need help.

    Thanks,

    Hiroshi

During the Package Selection phase, only a limited number of credentials are available.
These credentials are stored in the RIPINFO.INI file.
Distribution point info access are stored in the [RIPInfo] section.
The credentials are encrypted and stored in the reserved1.
The reserved values in this section are gathered from the Network Access Account specifed in the SMS Admin Console (Site Settings -> Component Configuration -> Software Distribution).
If you change this account, you have to rebuild the OSD Installation CD.

    Windux-san,

    Thanks for your reply.

    Refresh computer scenario was successful.
However, another error was occurred in
    new computer scenario.

After launching osdenv.exe, the below error message
    was shown.

''80070003 The system cannot find the path specified. "

    Why did this problem happen?

    Best Regards,

    Hiroshi

Like the error message said "The system cannot find the path specified. "

Check the server share site system in the SMS Administrator console, specify the server and share path for SMS to use.

    Windux-san,

I'm using 2 accounts which are 'BuildAccount' for RIS and
    'SMS-SA-NA01' for SMS Advanced client.
    Does this cause the problem?

I'm sorry for my late response.

I've not solved my problem of deployment of newcomputer.
I tried to run Zerotouchinstallation.vbs in debug mode and
I could see two error messsages as below.

The file OSDConnectToUNC.exe could not be found in any standard
    locations.

    WARNING - Unable to find
OSDConnectToUNC so a connection cannot be attempted using OSD

Are these messages related to the problem?
