Slow Start up Win2000

    When turning on the computer for the first time. It akes a long time for the wizzes and whistles to show me the MSI Logo, about 2-3 minutes before the computer starts showing the intro screen. Not the desktop. The last monitor I had started real FAST. Since I installed the Gateway, all has slowed down.
    I am using a new 17" monitor Gateway EV 700

    What do I need to do to speed this up. The setting were basically the same as before.
