I have an original XP Pro CD and I want to integrate SP3. However, Service Pack 1a is a prerequisite to installing Service Pack 2 or Service Pack 3. Is it possible to slipstream SP1a and then slipstream SP3?

Prior to any replies I made an iso with just SP3 slipstreamed...testing the install in progress. We'll see if I needed to use sp1a or not. So far, so good, disk is formatting. I figure if no joy it will error out on first boot.

Well, so far all is well. The install went smooth and all functionaly is intact. There's no activation with this one because it's a volume license. Now I can use this cd for reinstalls in the client's business if needed. It will save a lot of time and reboots as I won't have to install service pack 1a followed by sp 2 & sp3. In the past, when installing service packs for them I'd always get the warning "you must install service pack(previous) prior to installing this one ". Even MS Security Essentials installed fine.
