Sims Game

Hello
can anyone tell me how to completley remove the Sims Game my kids got it from a friend who gave them the game didnt come with a uninstaller (no idea why )I want to get rid of it completly.
I did a file search for Sims and deleted it but traces of it are still in my pc I want it all out inlcuding dll etc etc ...Hope Someone can help me.
I can always do a restore but that is a pain you all know were LOL
So trying to avoid that.

If it shows up in control panel~add/remove programs, you can at this point reinstall it and then use add/remove to get rid of it.

Otherwise, nearly impossible to figure out all the registry entries it may have made and scrub them.

If you are running 2K or XP, all the files should have been placed in the game folder since by default, 2K and XP don't allow programs to place files in the windows directory I don't think. You could change settings to remove this protection but hopefully you haven't.

Are the remaining traces causing you problems?

My Son told me it was a game they downloaded off the internet then put on cd.
I dont know what Game folder you mean or even were it is I have windows XP Also the remaining traces are not causing problems,,,, My Pc has been real slow lately It is fairley new(almost 1 year) all cookies etc etc are always cleaned I have gotten rid of programs I dont use derfrag bla bla bla LOL and its still slow so I wanted to get rid of the game since they dont play it anymore..
