shortcut arrow

    after downloading ALL the updates from windows update,the shortcut arrows seem to have stay for good cos i've tried many tweaking programs to remove it,but alas....it's still there.

    kiasuteo--Although I am not sure it applies to WinXP (or if WinXP had a similar patch), you may want to be aware of the problem caused by using TweakUI to remove shortcut arrows after installing a 2002 MS patch.

    (Basically there was a conflict between the patch's new shell32.dll and the TweakUI setting. It is possible the shell32.dll file is part of the recent WinXP Service Pack.)

    Looks like XP does not have that problem.
