    KenKeith,

AutoComplete is now working properly. I am having the above stated harddrive problem. I solved the Autocomplete problem by re-formatting and re-installing XP Pro.

I don't know what made me do it but I ran fdisk on the troublesome drive and discovered that the format had been changed to Non-Dos. I realized that the data was all lost so i just deleted that partitioned and re-partitioned and formatted it and now XP sees it just fine...I wonder what changed the format type?

NTFS shows up, of course, as non-DOS with fdisk. But you thought it was FAT, so something must have happened to it along the way.

Glad it works---hope you didn't lose anything too important.

It was definitely Fat because i had windows 98SE running on it, and i just disconnnected it when I installed XP on my new harddrive. I just connected it as the slave after.
