Probably the same spot as in 98 - Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Start up disk.

    Alternatively www.bootdisk.com

My apologies - I jumped to the wrong conclusion :(

I don't have any in depth knowledge of Me - ran it for a few weeks a long time back, dumped it and returned to 98SE before moving on to XP.

Afraid you will have to wait for someone more knowledgeable on Me to come along.

    Hello Barry,

No such folder. While the OS is obviously there, it is a product of a compressed installtion source.

Two choices: Get a WinME disk or get Drive Imaging software and image the current disk - that would become your "OS cd ".

    Regards - Charles

    Hi Barry,

This is the imaging software that I use http://www.apricorn.com/product_details.php?ID=381

Cloneing also come with it. Have used to migrate to larger HD's.

I make an image about 2X a month. In your context, would make a "master" image when you know everything is working properly and to your satisfaction and put that away.

    Regards - Charles

See if you have a folder C:\windows\options\cabs

If you do , it is a copy of the winme folder on your install cd.
Burn this folder to a bootable CD and you can install from the setup.exe file.

If you know how to make an autorun.inf file for it, you can do that too.
