    Hi There,
I am having problems installaing windows Xp on a Laptop acer 5315 series which previously had SP1Vista.
I formatted the drive using winxp boot disk. All went well until it came to option where 1>Press enter to install new Windows 2>Press C to create new partition of 3 > D to delete Partition, neither of them worked.
Right under the 3 options above it gave some infor like
76317 MB Disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi
    (Setup cannot access this Disk)

When I press either of the options above, it gave me a blue screen.

    Can someone help me?

You will need to load drivers for the hard drive with the F6 function during the start of XP's setup routine.

Check Acer Support for the drivers.
