    Here's what they are and how to open them:

    http://www.piglette.com/howtoopenmimfiles.html

    OR

    http://www.ezinstructions.com/aolpix.htm

    Now I'll have to figure out why your emails are being sent this way. Do you use AOL? I'm not, at all, familiar with AOL. Have you read the help file to what your alternatives are for sending an email with mulitple attachments? At least I got you half way there.....:)

    So far... advice read has been to "send email with no more than one attachment" or notify the recipient of your email that they need a zip tool such as Winzip that can handle .MIM file types.

    =======additional nfo======
    MIM A multipart file in the Multi-Purpose Internet Mail Extensions (MIME) format; often created as the result of sending e-mail with attachments in AOL. The files in a multipart MIM file can be "opened" (unarchived and separated into individual files using something like Winzip)

    Open your Outlook Express Mail. From Tools Menu select Options. You will get a window and look across the top of it for SEND. Click that and at the bottom of that look for "Mail Sending Format" select HTML and then HTML Settings. It should be: Encode Text Using: Quoted Printable. Click OK.

    That might make a difference. Worth a try.
