Hi. I have Outlook 2010 and Windows 7. When I send an email it always stays in the outbox until I do a separate "send/receive ". If I close Outlook with messages still in the outbox, I get a warning asking if I want to "exit without sending ", or "don't exit ". The obvious choice - send and exit - isn't even an option!!
Anyway, can anyone tell me how to fix this? I have been unable to locate a setting that will fix it.
    Thanks a lot,
    Gary

I don't have Outlook in front of me... But File->Options->MAIL->Advanced-> Send and Receive.

I believe there is an option to "auto send" or something like that.

    Nearly Steve :)

File > Options > Advanced under Send and receive make sure that Send immediately when connected is checked.
