Scroll Thingy

    I don't know what to call this thingy. It's the interactive icon ( circle with double ended arrow ) that appears in the window when you press the scroll wheel on the mouse. It works fine on my desktop pc, but it has disappeared on my laptop which has a marble mouse. It used to be activated by the small left hand button. I really miss it. Any suggestions? :(

    Reload the wheel mouse software. Another possibility, you have a touch pad which sometimes conflicts with mice. Disable it for a test. If it worked at one time the reload would likely be the cure though. It wouldn't hurt to check in the Control Panel under MOUSE for any setting that may have changed.
