    Hello,

I just downloaded all updates for Internet Explorer and cleaned up my system (scanned, defrag'ed and checked for viruses), but now something strange is happening with my scrollbar...

If I use the arrows on the top and bottom, the page scrolls normally, but if I click on the gap between the arrows (not the bar), the page scrolls twice/three times as fast. It never used to do this. Does anyone know how I can fix it?

    Thanks.

That's something that came along with one of the updates. I can't remember which one but if you wanted to know I could probably dig it up somewhere here. It's my understanding that it's not a bug, but rather a "feature" that MS added. Not a very well thought out one though. The way it works is, if you click just under or above the slider bar, it'll scroll one page just like it used to. If you click farther below or above it, it'll scroll more pages at once. In other words the farther you click away from the scroll bar, the farther the page scrolls. Nice, huh?

Ahh! I don't think I ever click close to the bar, so for me, it always went ZOOOOM!

Why do they have to complicate things so much?! I liked it better the old way!

Well, that solves one of my problems - it's NOT my problem, its IE! Now to think of all the other weird things that are happening...

You're not the only one. Can't say I've run into anybody yet that prefers it the new way.
