screen size

I have an Acer Aspire running Win95 with an ATI Graphics Pro Turbo PCI with ATI 264-VT3 (Direct Draw). I loaded a game on that required Directx 6 and it installed fine. After that however the display moved to the right and the monitor control knobs cannot adjust it back and I have been unable to find anything in the directx or display adaptor diagnostics to indicate what the problem is. ATI does not provide updates of their driver for this older machine. Any ideas?

 

It could be the DirectX 6 from the game CD that is the problem.
DirectX 8.0a.
This is the highest version you can use. After installing, check the Windows Update page and see if a critical update is available for it, there may be, if the Update page still works for 95.
