saving folder

    I have a folder i want to save but its to big to put on a disk even one at a time, i want to do a clean format and i don't want to lose this folder, is ther any place on the internet i can store it till i put in the new system.:D

    Your ISP should have space allotted to you for just this kind of thing. Although it may be called space for a web page, you can do anything with the space. Check the isp's web site. It should also tell you how to ftp files to the space.

    You could use WinZip or similar to compress the folder and at the same time split it into several or more files of a specified size that will fit on a CD. After the fresh install just copy then all to the hard drive and run the first one and it will unzip them all and rebuild the original folder.

    When reinstalling you should consider splitting the drive to give you a separate data partition, so that your data in not in with the OS.
