Back in the old 4.7 days I knew which address book and bookmark files to save for backup purposes. But I don't know for 7.2. Can anyone help me with this?

For the address books, it is pretty much the same way, to do it right. In the address book: Tools|Export in ldif format. I use a several addres books, and I give the file the name which I use. In Bookmarks: Tools|Export the file, which is: bookmarks.html. You can save the file in a place that you will remember.

And after I export these files, do I simply import them if I need to restore them after a crash?

Yes. I have just used such files to bring them into a new profile.
Of course, it is a good idea to update the backups, and keep the files on floppies.
