Can the Sansa m230 also be used for data storage as with a flash drive?

In the manual, there's no mention on how to use it as a storage device. When I plug in the Sansa to my USB port and get into the device, it won't let you create any new folders and I don't think you would add data to a music folder with the wma/mp3 files. The only other folder is the record folder which would be for voice recording.

Sandisk is very unclear with their products. They have a firmware update with no instructions (that I can find) on how to apply the update.

Can you view Sansa drive via Explorer?
If yes, create a new folder in C: drive of Explorer, copy some files into folder.
Now Move / or / Drag folder from C: drive to Sansa drive.
I can do the above with my Lyra MP3 player. The folder I moved into the player does NOT affect the players ability to see / read / or play mp3 music files. When I no longer need the folder, I move it out of the player.

I don't know why it posted 3 replies, I only hit the button one time and it went through.

I don't see a way to delete the multiple post. When I place the cursor over the Edit button it says "Edit/Delete Message" but once in, there's no place to delete.
