Hi all,

Im from Fife in Scotland, I work as a Coastguard Officer at Forth MRCC. I was previously in the Royal Navy as a Radio operator, serving 9 years and have now been in the Coastguard for nearly 20 years.

I have a fair amount of knowledge on pc problems, through the 'see what happens when I do this' system. I also create Websites, primarily for myself and Im in the course of building one for the family.

I have previously used 95, 98, xp and now Im on to Vista.

I have two computers both running vista, one a desktop using a netgear wireless router, and the other a toshiba laptop. I use a HP Printer with a hp free server. This is my latest 'new technolgy' and thus new ground to me and thus my first posting is regarding setting up of the printer to enable my pc and my laptop to use the same printer !!!!!

I have a witty sense of humour some people could say its a bit warped !
