Windows Vista ROCK 1TB Problems!

    I have a Rock TB it worked with xp and my mac but as soon as i try on my 64bit vista its detects it but i go to all my removable drives and it dosent work at all!!!!!!!!! anyone know why?????? do i need to get another drive that actually works with 64 bit vista?

    After you connect it, look in the Notification Tray (icons next to the time) at the Safely Remove Hardware icon. Any removable drives should be listed and beside them should be the drive letter allocation. Does it have a drive letter?

    That is the quick way of checking.

    If it does not have a drive letter allocation, go to Start (orb) and right-click on Computer. Select Manage -> Disk Management. Your drive will probably be listed without a drive letter. Right-click on the drive and allocate a drive letter to it.
