I am having a little problem out here and am wondering if anyone has overcome it.

When a user has a roaming profile set in their user object and the profile is automatically created from the Default User Profile, the Desktop theme is automatically set to a cross between Windows XP theme and classic. i.e. The start menu uses the Windows XP style with the most recently used programs menu, but all the buttons and windows titles look like Windows 2000.

This does not happen if there is not a roaming profile.

Probably by design to prevent compatibility issues. You should still be able to configure a policy (Desktop Themes in User Configuration) to "Load a specific visual style... "
