roaming profile issue

server is a win2k. client is xp. I have one user who has had nothing but problems with their profile. i have had to rebuild his profile several times and im going insance. everthing will work great then all of a sudden one day their profile will simply not load ANY of their files n the client. server shows that all their files are there but it does not pull them down from the server. anyone have a solution for this? also login is extremly slow for all users, even those who have little to no files (3-6 minutes). Thanks in advance.

 

Have you checked your hardware ? A single flaky switch or lan card or cable can bring the whole network down.

Check for viruses/malware thoroughly & clean up temp files on all computers [I recommend CCleaner for that].

Move the offending computer somewhere else & see if the same thing happens there too.
