I have spent the past hour reading pasts posts on the bulletin board - so if I missed someone's post with my specific computer problem I apologize.

I can right click on files and I get the right click box.

The problem occurs when using the XP style start menu which I like.

I have program short cuts pinned to it and some I wish to remove. The problem is I can not get the right click function to work on any of the material on my start menu --- no matter where it is located on the start menu. This includes right clicking on a document in the section of My Documents when it cascades open from the main folder.

    Please help!

Right click on the taskbar and choose properties. Click the start menu tab >customize button>advanced tab. Make sure the line that says enable dragging and dropping is checked.
