Repair the boot sector ?

    The hard drive has lost ability to boot up.
    Is there a sequence to follow so as to repair the boot sector using the Windowx XP Pro CD without having to do a new install ?

    Are you thinking perhaps of a repair of XP? or Repair the boot sector.
