I would like to remove some programs from the Startup.
I have done this before in Windows Milenium, but I now use XP and it seems to be s whole different approach.
I seem to remember using msconfig.exe
Can somebody give me a simple rundown on this procedure.
    Thans, Dave Young

    Hello Dave,

Start > run > type msconfig > ok > startup tab and uncheck the items not wanted on startup.

After the next bootup, there is a message that you changed the system configuration, check the box and it won't bother you anymore.

    Regards - Charles

EDIT: 4saken, I was typing while you were posting - didn't see your post.
