remove windows messenger completely

    i know we can uninstall/remove/disable windows messenger in xp pro but is there a way to completely remove it from the system like it never existed?

    The short answer is "Yes ", but you may end up with other problems as a result, like slow Outlook Express or difficulty signing in to Hotmail.

    It uses very little space and can be configured to stay out of sight, but if you really insist on getting rid of it, you may want to look through these suggestions, including how to fix the other programs that work less well without Messenger:
