   Is there any way to remove MSN Messenger from my pc. I don't use the program but it seems nothing I do gets rid of it.

   Rename the folder from: C:\Program Files\Messenger
   
   to
   
   C:\Program Files\xMessenger

   MSN Messenger is a seperate download/install, so it should be listed in Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel.
   
   To remove Windows Messenger which is included in Windows XP, read: Uninstall Windows Messenger
