reinstalling office 2000

    my 1st post , so hope im in the right forum.
    i uninstalled office pro 2000 [please dont ask why].
    when trying to reinstall im getting the message bellow.
    set up has detected the following problems.
    please correct them and rerun set-up.
    you do not have Microsoft internet information server [iis] 4.0 installed.
    please install 4.0 before installing Microsoft office server extensions

    i have tried to install from microsoft website , but it says this install is for windows nt/2000. im running on xp . and a bit if a novice.
    thanks in advance for any advice
    ps the kids are going to kill me when they find out.

    Try control panel > add-remove programs > windows setup > see if IIS is there to be installed.

    Or just select the "custom" button during the setup and deselect stuff you'll never need, which is most likely the stuff that's dependant upon IIS.

    done that, it seems to of loaded the lot . cheers tony .
