Registry key changes

    I have inherited a pc from a Friend of mine and want to change all the references to his name that pop up. I have searched the registry and found lots of references to his name. I'm a little concerned about changing them as the name is associated with a line of data such as {9d3b2a13-25a5-4158-85ec-243ff22031fe}. This is very confusing can someone help me?
