Referenced memory

    My computer would not awaken from sleep mode. I pushed the on button on my box. I received the following msg: 0x001e8f38 referenced memory at 0x025d0264 could not be written. Click OK to terminate. How do I fix this? I have windows XP Home edition with up to date service packs. Thanks, Vince LaRochelle

    This occurred after I had partially installed a game. In the mean time I have uninstalled it and the problem has not returned. Thanks
