Can anyone suggest what to do about my recyle Bin not showing deleted files. This happens sometimes and also at times I get a notice that the recyle bin on both C and D drives are corrupted. I have Windows Xp with SP1 installed with all updates. The problem seems to come and go.

    Thanks for any ifno.

Administrators should have ownership of the Recycled directory. To take ownership of the directory, perform the following:
    Log on as Administrator.
Using Windows Explorer, locate the directory and select Properties/Ownership.
Use the option to Take Ownership of the directory.
Restore default permissions to the directory with the permissions option.

    Default permissions:
    Administrators Full Control
    Creator/Owner Full Control
    Everyone Change
    System Full Control
