Try running this Recycle Bin Repair Tool from Doug knox. It's a Reg file so download it to your Desktop and double-click it - affirm the act when asked. Perhaps a reboot may be needed.

    Welcome to Windows BBS!

Do you have TweakUI? (If you don't, you should get this extremely handy utility.) Assuming you do, open TweakUI.

Then click once on Desktop to open it.

In the white panel to the right is a list, at the bottom is Recycle Bin.

Click on the box beside Recycle Bin to put a checkmark in it.

Now click on the OK button at the bottom.

You can close TweakUI now, or you can first go back to your Desktop to see if the Recycle Bin icon is there. It should be.

Get back to us and let us know if that worked.

If you don't have TweakUI, do a Google search for Recycle Bin. There are links there containing methods to recover the Recycle Bin but they're longer than I wish to copy here.

    Good luck.
