Recommended System Utilities

Hi, My computer has had a lot of damage from the problems caused with the installation/faults of Windows Service Packs. Many of these problems have been fixed with the excellent software of Konrapd 'Autostart and Process View'.

With the upcoming new 2010 versions what other system utilities are there which are you can recommend for Windows 2000.

Not familiar with Konrapd. However, from recommendation of members of this group, I installed Winpatrol. It performs many functions and audits Windows performance. Can be used to find, fix and forecast problems.

Since most of my issues come from MSIE, I wanted programs which would analyze & repair it. Most helpful process was on one of my repairs to Wondiws &MSIE from W2K disc, the whole OS was replaced, starting over again, as in a clean boot, wthout my prompting. All previous problems ceased and, beside having to reinstall all software, this accident proved most productive.

All I can offer as a longtime user. Not a W2K geek.
