I have recently purchased a new motherboard with Realtek audio onboard and have had problems getting it to work. My co-workers also have the same issue with their motherboards from different manufacturers with realtek audio. Here's what happens, I have a 6 channel speaker configuration and when i run the 6 channel demo, I only hear sound from the center speaker and subwoofer. I have contacted Realtek support because this is definetly not a hardware issue. If anyone has come across this issue and has any suggestions please let me know. I have tried every driver i could find online with no luck.

    Thanks

    Tony

    Fix!!

Alright, after weeks of trying to figure this thing out, the problem was pretty simple. The front audio pins on the motherboard did not have jumpers on them, nor do i have front audio on my new case. I decided to put jumpers on each set of pins and this fixed the problem! If anyone else is having this problem and you do have front audio, try unplugging the the audio from the motherboard and put jumpers to test it out.
