Quicktime InstallShield 'Not Found'

Hi,

I have just downloaded a free version of quicktime off apple's website (Standalone) to my Windows ME PC (Though system requirements say XP & 2000). I spent 2 hours downloading it. And I went to open it, and it pops up after a couple of things (Like loading) :

Not found

I click OK and it closes. What can I do? I need quicktime. Any support?

Here is an alternative to Apple's player:

QuickTime Alternative 1.67

Don't see any specific OS restrictions.
