Proxy Server Software

Does anyone have any experience with using proxy server. I downloaded and install AnalogX. It seems pretty easy, but for some reason I can't get the e-mail feature working. If no one is familiar with AnalogX, does anyone know of any other free proxy server softwares that I could try?

 

If you have the AnalogX email aliases set up properly (correct email address, POP3 server name, SMTP server name) it should work fine. Slow maybe, but fine.

Do you have their Script Defender installed?

Why do you want to use a proxy server? There may be other, easier ways to do most things a small, software proxy server can do.

 

Newt, I'm the dude who has the hi-gain antenna looking at my friend's network accoss the street. I got thing going great with one PC. My problem is I have two PC on my network in my home and I need a way for the second PC to see the my friend's network through the computer with the antenna connected to it. What are your other thoughts for providing a gateway for the second computer. I am to far away to add an adapter to it and the hi-gain antenna is a little costly.
