I have windows xp clients in a windows 2003 domain. My problem is that I have two icons of each program on the desktop. I'll erase the duplicate copy of the icons and log off. When I log back on all the icons have been duplicated again. Please someone help.

I havent used roaming profiles in a long time because I ran in to so many problems with diffrent machines not having the same apps and creating havoc. So with that said I aint much help with your problem.

Have you tried blowing out the user profile on the server? Sounds like there is a file dorked up somewhere.
