We are running Windows 2000 and have numerous workstations used by multiple users. Some of whom are not very computer-adept. Is there an easy way I can ensure the same network drive connections will be available at all times, regardless of who is logged onto the workstation?

    Thank You,
    Tommy

Several ways to do it - best one will depend on how you are structured. Are you using:

    - Domain(s)?
    - Profiles?
    - Login scripts?

    Newt,
We use Domains, Profiles and Logon script here. I managed to accomplish what I was trying do by creating a little batch file that makes persisistent drive connections. Seems to work okay, although it certainly isn't as elegant as it could be.

    Thanks as Always,
    Tommy

If it works, I could live without "elegant" myself. And you went the route I probably would have myself.
