When I forward things, I try to clean them up beforehand - you know, take out all the >>> symbols at the start of each line and such.
The finished product looks good, but when I send it to myself afterwards, there always seem to be some blank lines scattered throughout the missive . I try to forward THOSE to myself (the emails with the unwanted blank lines in them), thinking I'll edit out the blank lines, but when I click on "forward ", the message shows up clean again (i.e., the blank lines I want to delete are no longer visible). Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

    Rebecca,
you will save time, and get better results with eCleaner , a small free program which was available at the PC World website the last time I looked. It is no longer supported by the author, because that manner of quoting has become very rare. But, it is an excellent program.
I highlight|Copy the text, and paste it in eCleaner, and work with the Clean button. It is completely customizable.
