    Hi Folks,
If you can't help, maybe you can steer me in the right direction.
My problem is a new software program that DOES NOT allow me to change the print pitch on my finished printed page. Their old software had choices of 8.8 up thru 10.0 They currently have 10.0 ONLY. This makes for a very "tight" printed page with letters close together. I get client complaints about "readability "
Is there a way to change the print pitch thru Windows? Or is that something I have to do thru my printer software? I'm using Windows 98 with a HP LaserJet5P. The software I'm talking about is SmartCAT - new version, and TurboCAT -- old DOS version. They're court reporting software packages put out by Cheetah International in Arizona. I don't know if they can't fix the pitch problem or have just not gotten around to it. BUT, if you can help, I know of MANY reporters out there that would be VERY thankful.

    Jim,

Welcome to the board! I took a look at the Cheetah web site and it wasn't much help. They have a message board there that you could try posting your question. I did see a couple posts, date in January of this year, that mentions the problem that you are having. The response was that they knew of the problem and were working on it. I'd suggest posting the question again to see if anything new has been developed to help with this. You can find their site here.

    Bets of luck!

    Mike
